So, I haven't really been blogging because I now have officially starting blogging for my work. So I might be neglecting my blog for a little while. An update here is that it has been snowing like crazy and I am officially OVER it. Here are a few pictures of us playing in the snow!

I enjoy seeing all the talent that has audition so far this season but can we get on with the show already. I know people love to see people being horrible, dancing like morons and falling on their faces (at least that is Robb's favorite part). Robb is great because he watches and enjoys it with me he is such a good sport. Anyways, I am ready to see the top 20 I have a feeling it is better talent then last season.

I CAN NOT wait for Glee tomorrow night!!! It is so witty and smart. The one liners kill me!

Oh, so not related but this video was made about Richmond, VA where I have lived for pretty much of my life it is absolutely great and so funny.

Who is not with me on this? I think it is one of the best written shows that is on t.v. I know you aren't supposed to like Will's wife but geeze, she is annoying and totally rude! The whole Push It was a surprise but, totally funny. Needless to say I CAN NOT WAIT TILL NEXT WEDNESDAY!

SYTYCD season 6! I have a feeling this season is going to be amazing my favorites from the 1st audition are Molly, Amanda, and Amber. As of now I think the talent is running heavy on the girls side. But it is only the 1st show. I thought that the tap "trade" was very entertaining. I like Ryan but I don't find him as amazing as the judges. That is all I have to say about the shows for now..

A New Leaf

I have decided that I am going to dedicate my posts for a while to So You Think You Can Dance. (And maybe a post for Glee every once and a while b/c I have come to stinkin love that show even though it is not officially on yet).

SYTYCD tonight is a reflection show of the best of the past 5 years. So funny how I forgot how I have loved so many contestants in the past years. I must admit I didn't watch the 1st year so I do not really have much to say about that season.

Season 1: ? I got nothing

Season 2: My favorite was Allison, I liked Benji alot too. It was a fun show to watch, up beat and fun. It ignited my passion for dance again and with that new passion I got the privilage to teach dance.

Season 3: This season is the one that got me hooked. I couldn't get over how Sabra had only been dancing a few years And by the way where is that girl? Hok and Dominic were amazing (Shout out to Quest Crew! I love that crew!) Neal was also a good one..There was a lot of talent on season 3

Season 4: I LOVED SEASON 4!!!! It has been some of the best choreography and dancers so far by far my favorite season. Will was my favorite from the beginning I was so sad when he went home...But I love love loved Katee and Twitch or Twitchy as I called him. Joshua was simply amazing. The top 10 couldn't have been any better. This season was totally inspiring for me

I had sooo many favorite dance pieces. I attached only a couple.

Will just is amazing.

I really wished I could have gone to season 4 tour show.

Season 5: Was a good season. The return of Travis from season 2 as a choreographer was my favorite piece of the season. Janette amazed me that she was a salsa dancer and she was pulling off EVERY piece she was given and Jeanine just kept getting stronger and kicking butt. Brandon was good but I think it was a girl season this go around.

I will say before I started watching SYTYCD I was not a fan of modern or contemporary but my mind has completely changed and I now love it.

Birthday Prep

Since my big 30th birthday party is this Saturday! (yikes 30 came quick) I started Friday preparing. I went and got all the decorations..This year the color scheme is black, sliver and pink.

I have all the decor setting in the dining room right now it looks pretty cute as of now. I'll make sure to post pic's with the final result.

Today is going to consist of cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping. I have done 2 loads already...I have 2 sets of sheets and blankets to wash since I will be having 4 weekend guests for the party! The bathroom is soaking to be scrubbed in a few minutes...Lots of fun..At least I like to clean the bathroom for some reason it is relaxing for me.

I'm the worst blogger

I am going to write about my day and try to blog more often but lately I haven't had much to write about.

So today I received some very exciting news....As of now 4 out of my 5 best friends from college are now officially coming for my 30th birthday party...I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!! This is very special to me because they are coming from all over. Cali, Tampa, Ohio, and ATL I am hoping that the Sabs will be able to come as well...We will have to wait and see. I'm excited to have all of us together...These girls are so important to me...College holds many of my favorite memories and the all have to do with my 401 girls. They have all taught me something and helped mold me into who I am.

It has been a while

So I thought I would post my 1st picture blog in tribute to my new favorite blog The Pioneer Woman. This year for Christmas since money was a lot tighter then it has been Robb and I made lots of goodies for our friends and family. We made Cinnamon Rolls from scratch (thanks PW) and ginger bread men and woman. The rolls were super yummy and the ginger people I am told they were quite tasty (I am not a ginger bread cookie fan)

So here are is Robb and my adventure of lots and lots of cinnamon rolls. So I don't know how to organize pictures yet so I will work on that for my next post

Top 10 Things I love about Richmond VA

In no particular order

10. Cary Town. Its a street that is in an older place in town where there are unique shops and restaurants. My favorite bakery and American Apparel (where i like to get my dance clothes)

9. My family is here...Crazy as they are its still nice to be close.

8. The dance studio I work in. Its a great place.

7. Comfort!!!!!! It is the best restaurant. The best mashed potatoes and baked chicken EVER!! YUM!

6. I love my church.

5. Maymont Park. It is a pretty place to go have picnics or walk around to look at the gardens.

4. My Robbie :) I love him

3. All the seasons are pretty. Fall is very pretty

2. The festivals (which usually happen in Cary town) Strawberry and watermelon

1. 1st Friday's. It is a totally free event the 1st friday of the spring/summer months where you get to walk around to different art galleries and listen to music.

So, I have another injury. I sprained my ankle at work on tuesday. I have an air cast and am on crutches. I'm supposed to stay off of it until the 18th i think. So i've been bed since tuesday, bored out of my mind, but I am now reading the last book in the twighlight series. Unfortunately, my ankle does not feel much better and its more swollen then when it happened. Today I went out for the 1st time since tuesday for ice cream for small group and it wasn't that fun for my little foot. I go to the doctor tomorrow to have my ankle looked at again so we will see what she has to say....I'll keep you updated on my progress!! Oh by the way here are the photo's from the church opening.

Well, I am excited to hear I actually have some readers so that means I need to be a better blogger :) So a lot has happened in the last week...All excited things.

1.) I think I have an idea of how my job situation is going to pan out. I have 3 jobs currently. one is Teaching dance at the studio I have taught at the last few years so nothing new there...Second is teaching gymnastics to 3-5 year olds as well as a couple dance classes....I am not the lead teacher in any of these new classes, but that is fine with me for now. And the last is working at a local bridal salon which i am really excited about...It should be a neat experience and I'm looking forward to be able to go to trunk shows for really cool designers and big fashion shows! So fun...As my friends all know, I am totally obsessed with all things weddings...Not in the sense of the thought of weddings rule my life or the thought of mine that will hopefully happen some day ;) But I love seeing how each person has such a different idea of how they want to see their day pan out and how people can surprise them selves with being creative. I Love creativity! And I love getting to see people be creative...Now, I know that I am only going to be involved in the picking out and brainstorming about the dress...But for a lot of women the vision begins at the dress. You get to visit with them hear them gush about the upcoming event and so on...I am also excited about getting to see someone perparing for one of the most important decisions of their life! Its so cool..Sorry, I just kinda went on a little tangent.

So that is the work thing...

Another thing that I am kinda embarrassed to talk about but I am so hooked...I have started reading the Twilight series...I'm OBsessed I hate to admit...The are so well written it totally sucks you in...My friend's husband says he doesn't get it he says that the books are like crack. It all started b/c one of my closest friends and I were talking about how I wanted to get back into reading.. I used to really love to read and since the last couple years I just kinda lost the interest so she said that I should read the series she had finished. "they are really good, granted its a love story about a vampire and a girl, its an easy read, I think you would really like it. So I said ok, i'll try it and see...As she was handing it to me she said Seriously Cam its addicting. Well she was right. These aren't short books by any means...The 1st one was over 400 pages long I finished it in 2 1/2 days. I've been sick this week and yesterday I felt so badly I didn't feel like getting out of bed so I started and finished all but one chapter yesterday of the 2nd book...This one was over 500 pages and I can't wait to get my hands on the next one!!!! I won't be able to dedicate long stretches of time to reading but...geeze I can't wait. I know silly...I seriously recommend them. So I love reading again :) Now I need to find a book that is a good read that has some substance...Which I think will be The Shack. Or at least that is what I am thinking right now.

The best news is that our church after meeting in schools for a little over 10 years finally moved into our church building. It is amazing God has blessed us I am excited to see what he has in store for us as a community and how we can open our doors the community and love on them. The reason I have decided to start a blog is b/c many of my closest friends are scattered around the US.
